Projects

Nova Scotia Fisheries Sector Council

The Nova Scotia Fisheries Sector Council has established itself as the key fisheries human resource and training organization in the province.

The first project shown here is Fishjobs.ca. Fishjobs.ca is a source for career, training, and employment opportunities in the seafood processing, fish harvesting, and aquaculture sectors in Nova Scotia. The site is a “one-stop” portal that will help potential new entrants learn more about the industry, along with finding a potential job.

The project included the logo design, website, and promotional card. You can visit the site at fishjobs.ca.

In order to promote jobs in the fish processing industry, we did some fun posters that were then photographed with workers and used in Facebook advertising.

Other projects

Below are a couple of other projects for NSFSC. The Are You Ready logo is used to brand their man overboard drills that they host throughout Nova Scotia. The Wheelhouse Log Book contains logs, regulations, and useful tips for Nova Scotian captains – a valuable resource.

Safe at Sea logo is for a program to train captains and crew to improve their knowledge in relation to stability, safety equipment, designing a muster list, developing safety procedures, and practicing drills.
