Founded by Karen Brown in 1988, KBrown Design has been assisting clients with their design needs in Halifax and beyond for over 30 years.

ABOUT KAREN

Karen is passionate about great design. She has been honoured by Applied Arts Magazine, Canada’s preeminent visual communications publication, has had her work featured on the cover of Design Annual, and has contributed to her field by holding executive positions on the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada’s regional and national boards.

Karen’s decades of experience and professionalism make her the graphic designer of choice for many prestigious clients in Halifax and beyond.

Peace Not War Poster

The Peace Not War poster was designed for the exhibition, “Lest We Forget – Canadian Designers on War” which featured the responses of 24 prominent Canadian graphic designers to the subjects of war, anti-war and peace. This poster has won 3 awards – Applied Arts Design Award and was featured on the cover of the design annual; Ice Award, Lou Cable Memorial Award; and Graphex Award of Merit. The poster also was included in Communications Arts (2006).
